Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification

For EDWOSB, the owner’s personal net worth, adjusted gross income, and fair market value of assets must fall below specific thresholds.

Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB)

Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Certifications
Description: These programs are designed to assist veterans and service-disabled veterans in securing government contracts, recognizing their service and promoting their entrepreneurial success.
Eligibility Requirements:
* At least 51% of the business must be owned and controlled by one or more veterans or service-disabled veterans.

* The veteran owner must manage day-to-day operations and hold the highest officer position.

* For SDVOSB, the disability must be service-connected.


8(a) Business Development Program

Description: This nine-year program aids small businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals by providing training, technical assistance, and exclusive contracting opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements:
* The business must be small according to SBA size standards.

* At least 51% of the business must be owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who are U.S. citizens.

* The owner’s personal net worth, adjusted gross income, and fair market value of assets must be below specific limits.

* The business must demonstrate potential for success and good character.
* At least 51% of the business must be owned and controlled by one or more veterans or service-disabled veterans.

* The veteran owner must manage day-to-day operations and hold the highest officer position.

* For SDVOSB, the disability must be service-connected.


HUBZone Program

Description: The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program stimulates economic development in designated areas by providing federal contracting preferences to eligible businesses.
Eligibility Requirements:
* The business must be small and at least 51% owned and controlled by U.S. citizens, a Community Development Corporation, an agricultural cooperative, or an Indian tribe.

* The principal office must be located in a HUBZone.

* At least 35% of employees must reside in a HUBZone.

GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS)

 GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contracts
Description: The GSA MAS program provides businesses with a streamlined process to offer products and services to federal, state, and local government agencies through long-term government-wide contracts.
Eligibility Requirements:
* The business must demonstrate at least two years of successful operations.

* Financial stability and compliance with the Trade Agreements Act are required.

* The business must offer products or services that fall within the GSA’s defined categories.* The business must be small and at least 51% owned and controlled by U.S. citizens, a Community Development Corporation, an agricultural cooperative, or an Indian tribe.

* The principal office must be located in a HUBZone.

* At least 35% of employees must reside in a HUBZone.

State-Level Certifications

Description: State certifications, such as Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women Business Enterprise (WBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), enhance your business’s eligibility for state and local government contracts and certain private sector opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements:
